17d. Leading to the startup of research on micro fluidized bed in UK

        ​Now​​​ in UK there are good researches on micro fluidized bed science and technology, and the pioneer work of Dr. Xu and his colleagues in this field has actually led or inspired the UK scholars to start such related studies.  Dr. Xu has initiated the work on micro fluidized bed in 2005. In 2014, Dr. Vladimir Zivkovic has been invited to attend the “Micro Fluidized Bed Workshop” Chaired by Dr. Xu in WCPT 7, the 7th World Congress of Particle Technology, held in Beijing (see the first table and picture). Since 2013, Vladimir and his colleagues have published many good articles on particularly micro liquid-particle fluidized bed, rending him quickly an important famous scientist in this area. In 2021, he has led his team to implement a high-level review article in which he regarded that “Xu and his team kick-stared the field (of micro fluidized bed reactor science and technology)”. Recently on July 2021, a virtual discussion has further been held between Vladimir and the team of Dr. Xu to align a few important cooperation themes.  One of them is the co-work on publishing the first book entitled with Micro Fluidization (see the minutes shown at the last).
