(b).  Initiation of International Symposium on Gasification and Its Application (iSGA)

        The following picture summarizes the places and years that have taken to hold the symposium successively around the world, while all the corresponding conference chairs are further listed below. For all the events that have been held, Dr. Xu has made a major contribution as the coordinator of the symposium’s academic committee and has been granted with a special award to recognize his tireless efforts and significant contributions to the symposium. Except for iSGA-5, all past iSGAs have published a special issue in the journal either of Fuel or Processing Technology.
