13.  Launching a peer-reviewed journal Carbon Resources Conversion (CRC)

        The journal was launched in 2018 through a cooperation with Prof. Ying Zheng of The University of Edinburgh when she worked there (see the 1st picture below). The current editorial board can refer to http://www.keaipublishing.com/en/journals/carbon-resources-conversion/. The published articles in the journal CRC have attracted good downloads of up to 270,000 already (2nd picture) and received good citations to have the highest citation of about 180 for a single article published in 2018 (3rd picture). The journal CRC has been indexed by Scopus, and the predicted IF is over 4.0 by Web of Science and above 6 by Scopus (4th picture). In the process of initiating and continuous developing CRC, Dr. Xu has played the original leading role through his major sponsorship, coordination and organization work.
