3.  Wide-temperature DeNOx catalyst and application to flue gas cleaning of pyrolysis-centered facilities

This is the only innovative technology in the world which does not use Ti/W powder in manufacturing the honeycomb denitration (DeNOx) catalyst. The technology innovates the use of solvothermal reaction in obtaining highly active and easy-moulding paste-like catalyst cakemud, which is in turn directly extruded into honercomb to manufacture the monolity-type DeNOx catalyst of commercial size. It includes the development of a full set of updated technical parameters for the unit operations of kneading, extrusion, shaping (monolith making), drying and calcination. After the trial tests at 300 m3/a system, a 3000 m3/a catalyst production line was built. The catalyst product enables a wide window of working temperature in 220-400 ℃ for sulfur-containing gas and is as twice strong as the commercial catalyst based on traditional technology. It allows products with 18 to 40 holes in cross section. Please see the first figure below for more detailed evidence.

The adaptive reactor and further a full set of process have been developed to apply the preceding wide-temperature DeNOx catalyst for flue gas denitration and complete cleaning according to the environmental regulations imposed on various industrial furnaces and/or ovens, which include, for example, coking oven, agglomeration machine, steam boiler, incineration furnace, cement kin and so on. Consequently, up to now more than 10000 m3 catalyst of monolith-type have been widely used in about 90 installations including deNOx for cleaning flue gas exhausting from various industrial ovens or furnaces heavily involving pyrolysis. The pictures presented below summarize the user companies and their related information of installations (some in Chinese).
