4.  Proposal and promotion of the interdiscipline of Engineering Thermochemistry 

        For the first time he systematically identified the major thermochemical reactions of Engineering Thermochemistry and further led the work on proposing the interdiscipline and writing the first book in this area titled “Introduction to Engineering Thermochemistry”. For promoting this Engineering Thermochemistry, he has established a Technical Division on Engineering Thermochemistry in Chemical Industrial and Engineering Society of China (CIESC) in 2018, launched various symposiums on Engineering Thermochemistry which is almost once a year and has gathered about 300 attendees for the independent national symposium. He has also edited a special issue on Engineering Thermochemistry in CIESC Journal. The underway work includes further the applications for establishing a Society on Engineering Thermochemistry in Liaoning and organizing the so-called Xiangshan Science Conference on Engineering Thermochemistry Science and Technology.
