8.  Full-chain technological innovation and engineering development

        The team of Dr. Xu has the sufficiently good capabilities to implement not only fundamental studies but also engineering development, rendering him and his colleagues successful in converting numbers of innovative ideas into practical technologies that have been widely deployed in commercial applications. This process of technology development usually has to experience the stages of laboratory testification, pilot verification and industrial demonstration after the concept being created. Summarized below are several typical cases of such kinds of successful developments and industrialization that have been fulfilled by the research team of Dr. Xu, sufficiently demonstrating the exceptional engineering capability of this team.

The R&D base for engineering installation and pilot verification tests in Hebi, Henan.

a) Low-NOx decoupling combustion in a dual fluidized bed system. 

b) Low-tar gasification based on decoupling pyrolysis via fluidized two stages.  

c) Product-directive pyrolysis for production oil and/or gas at high yield. 

d) Structured wide-temperature DeNOx catalyst based on solvothermal reaction. 

e) Flash calcination of Magnesite using transport bed reactor.

f) Isothermal reaction analyzer adopting microreactor of fluidized beds.
